Firefox 2.0 Ships with Updated SVG Support

Yesterday, Firefox 2.0 was released, bringing in mostly user interface and security improvements, such as anti-phishing protection, an updated tabs bar, browser session resuming, inline spell checking, and many other features detailed in the release notes. However, there are new features in Firefox's SVG rendering capabilities, with the main new feature being support for the <textPath> element, but also a host of important SVG bug fixes. As always, the Mozilla Developer Connection is the place to find the updated element implementation matrix for Firefox. Firefox 2.0 is available now as a free download.

The Unseen Video is much more than a normal, static music video. It is a youtube video that is affected by the weather and local time from the position of the viewer.

I agree at all with all your comments but the integration process must grow more and more.

Loved FF2 - but always had problems with it on my thinkpad with XP2000. Can't wait for FF3.0 - SVG implementation is supposed to be v. cool Mark - London Hypnosis guy

I can't believe I used Internet explorer for so long. I moved to Firefox about a year ago and as other have commented it's the best browser around and in my opinion in a league of its own. DMG sites - malaga-car-hire.net | alicante-car-hire.org
