Stockholm-based creative weather company Swedish Weather Center showcased within the Ikivo booth at 3GSM their Weather Walk mobile weather service. The concept of the Weather Walk service is to present to mobile users a character called Axel walking across the city for which the weather has been requested. As Axel walks around the city, recognizable city landmarks appear in the background as the sun moves around as the day passes, with the weather condition following the progress so that the user can see the day's forecast. All the while Axel is dressed according to the weather, wearing shorts if it's warm and sunny, a warm jacket if it's cold, etc.

The mobile service is already available via your phone's browser at mobile.weatherwalk.com, which also works on browsers with SVG Tiny 1.1 capabilities. Currently available locations are Barcelona, London, Paris, Stockholm and the Polar Circle.
