Any SVG folks following Microsoft XPS?

I'm still waiting to see where Adobe is going with SVG. Saturday I stumbled upon Microsoft XPS in a magazine review of Vista; first time I've heard of it. Any thoughts on how this will effect SVG? The syntax examples I've seen look similar.

I would rather that adobe did not get thier mits on SVG as I find them way to far a domminant player = forced downloads and all
