Placing Text Dynamically in SVG

Hi I am working on a concept mapping project using svg images for displaying the concept map i have 2 problems and am not able to continue with the project
- Placing text dynamically in svg : i have managed to place the objects(rectangles) using loops , but in order to place the text on theese objects both the location of the text and the text inself needs to be dynamic. Can this be done
- I need to attach a hyper link with each txt that i place on the rectangle.
