Generating a SVG directed acyclic graph form xml tags

Posted by Pierre Jourlin apropos on Fri Mar 25th, 2005 at 09:06:48 BST

This is a conceptual browser for a xml pedagogical document :
http://www.cilma.univ-avignon.fr/ConceptNavigationSVG.php

The xml document contains 2 special tags : CONCEPTDEF (used to define concepts) and CONCEPT (used to refer to prerequisite concepts in a concept definition).

Thus, the learner can navigate in the graph of prerequisites, select the concepts he want to acquire, the concepts that he already learned and the graph will tell him what paths of definitions he might follow to learn its target concepts.

I can provide the php source code to anyone interested. It is under a GNU public licence.

Hello,

I'm writing an interactive course on machine language and assembly langage programming. The course's examples are based on a virtual processor that I have written in SVG+Javascript+PHP : http://www.cilma.univ-avignon.fr/GIML.php?lng=en. It seems to work fine with adobe SVG v3 and v6, with netscape/mozilla/firefox on linux, mac os X and windows.
