Here's the blog: Candy's Land Here's a photo of what I'll receive!! Look at all this stuff...even Audrey got excited when I was telling her and showing her! I can't wait to make a card or small album with these items, I'll be sure to post a photo! Posted by Melissa at 9:32 PM 3 comments Wednesday, January 16, 2008 Audrey's handwriting Audrey is learning cursive. She was so proud of herself last night when she wrote this for me. She said the small dots were to help her keep a straight line. I've never seen that before, I guess that it makes sense though. The first step is admitting you have a problem. Isn't that what people in AA say? Hi, I'm Melissa and I have a scrapbooking addiction problem. Yes, I admitted it. I admitted it when I was standing at the check out line at a scrapbooking store on Sunday. I tried to rationalize it all by saying that I don't go to this store often, only every three to four months or so. I think that was my reasoning for the 4 foot receipt. Plus they list every single piece of paper you pick up, and a lot of the things I purchased were on clearance. I would rather Audrey put 10 stickers that I paid $.50 cents for on a card versus 10 stickers that were $2.99 a set. When I do go shopping, I see all these new items or holiday theme related items that I'm working on. I don't walk into a store with a dollar amount in my mind of what I'm going to spend, or if I do, then it flies out the window as I'm seeing all these new items. lnstryker damaliayana thewatussi erikpettinari jaselineseng anakinskywalker coathanger007 FatsWalleter bombayinpics lajuntablog annetje77 So, so quickly the hills in the east lighten and translucence races across the sky to the Caribbean horizon in the west. The road ahead becomes clear. Locals, waking to an early Sunday morning, appear surprised at the string of sweaty runners passing by, but react without exception with cheerful encouragement. After the first hour, I reach Holetown, where the first British settlers came ashore and where the church they built in 1629 still stands like an out-of-place British parish chapel. This is a low-point for me, as this is also the turn-around point for the majority of runners who are sensibly running the half marathon distance. Not only do I watch while they scamper past me heading for home, but I realize that my race is but one quarter run.
