New Site Dedicated to SVG
Posted by schepers apropos on Mon Nov 29th, 2004 at 09:33:22 BST
This will give me the opportunity and reason to finally annotate all my sample code, and will be teh definitive location for my Behavior and Appearance Markup proposal. Its original purpose was to host my SVG+Script online SVG editor, and I will still use it for that, once I get the new version of the editor whipped into shape.
The site is still in its infancy, and many sections are incomplete, but keep checking back for updates.

You can find more details at http://www.trixml.org/futuremeetings.shtml, including directions on how to get there.
This is a beginner course, so SVG gurus need not apply. Unless they want a snack.
SVG Version of the Firefox Logo

I took it upon myself to clean it up (I also like untying knots in kite strings). The tidied-up version can be seen here:
For those interested in picayune details, stripping out proprietary extensions, base-64-encoded embedded images, and removing extraneous spaces and line-breaks took it from 8744 lines to 429 lines, going from 667KB to 45KB.
Damn you, Adobe Illustrator!!! ;)
